Photographer's Note

I saw the young couple in a bookstore. They both stood in front of a large window and talked. I photographed in the backlight. Exposure +1 .
The yellow flower is a decal on the window pane. I could retouch the flower, but I did not.

J'aime beaucoup ce type d'image,c'est vraiment bien réalisé.Beaucoup de style et de pureté.Un N/B "involontaire" et la petite touche de couleur apportée par la fleur.

Hi Wolfgang,
I love the yellow flower over the girl's head. It is like a light bulb which indicates that the girl is saying "I have an idea". There is a lot of intensity between the gazes of the boy and girl. The girl is mesmerized by what the boy is saying. On second thoughts, the sunny yellow flower might be a representation of her deeper thoughts "....".
A very good capture that was well spotted.
Great exposure against the white background. I can see why +1 was needed.

lange Zeit dachte ich - na ja - der wolf38 fotografiert halt gerne Passanten, aber was du hier in letzter Zeit ablieferst ist nichts anderes, als KUNST!
Geniale Aufnahme. Das verstehe sogar ich - als jemand der nur sehr, sehr selten Menschen bewußt fotografiert.
Danke fürs Teilen - sehr inspirierende Arbeit.

Hi Wolfgang,
There is a very strong connection between the two persons here. I get the impression that the invisible line between their eyes is more obvious than the yellow flower. This flower is not significant but it is a nice eye-catcher. A beautiful composition.

Hello Wolfgang,
Again one of these remarkable unexpected encounters which you have captured in your verey specialized manner. There is a superb connection between the two persons' eyes and the yellow flower is a fine and amusing detail. I have to admit that I don't quite understand how the window can be so perfectly white, nothing seen through it and nothing reflected. But never mind, it's a fine composition anyway.

Great use of overexposure to turn a scene of daily life into a piece of graphic art, Wolfgang! I'm glad you didn't retouch the decal, as it's my favorite part of the composition - adds a bit of surrealism and humor to an otherwise normal conversation, and when mixed with the bright background creates a whimsical scene. Well imagined and captured!

immediately I saw this it made me smile. I like the connection between the couple and I am pleased that you decided to keep the bright yellow flower.Somehow, for me it makes the image.It has a random cheerfulness that tells us that what is going on between the boy and the girl is something sunny and bright.
