Photographer’s Note

The temple lies in the mountain park wilhelmshöhe somewhat apart on a hill. One sees someone there only rare. After many years I visited the lonely temple again. The photo shows its mirror image in a small brook.

"The "Roman" merkur temple, which refers merkur to the God, was built from 1782 to 1783. It is consisting an open circular building with 6 m diameters, of 8 columns. Its model is the temple of the Venus in the English landscape park Stowe. In the Second World War the temple lost its dome as well as the Merkurstatue." (Wikipedia)
