Photographer’s Note
The temple lies in the mountain park wilhelmshöhe somewhat apart on a hill. One sees someone there only rare. After many years I visited the lonely temple again. The photo shows its mirror image in a small brook.
"The "Roman" merkur temple, which refers merkur to the God, was built from 1782 to 1783. It is consisting an open circular building with 6 m diameters, of 8 columns. Its model is the temple of the Venus in the English landscape park Stowe. In the Second World War the temple lost its dome as well as the Merkurstatue." (Wikipedia)

Hello Wolfgang,
I very much like the lighting here and the way you have framed the temple and its reflection making excellent use of the vertical format. Superb natural colours and very good sharpness throughout. A very pleasing image.

Wolfgang,
This is a well composed shot! The inclusion of the water in the foreground was a good decision. The reflection is great giving the shot a nice sense of depth and balance. The lighting and colors are great with excellent sharpness and DOF. The long shadows creates nice contrast throughout the shot.

Hallo Wolfgang,

Abend Wolfgang,
An absolutely splendid photo, again utilizing the wide angle with probably some cropping to produce this lovely vertical composition, with many elements and layers, all perfectly sharp and in perfect colors. Fine stuff.
Best regards.

Hallo Wolfgang,
A carefully crafted and balanced composition. The temple reflection is perfectly rendered in the pond. The shade of greens are beautiful. You have done a great job of managing the bright light on the top side of the image.

Hello Wolfgang,
In the small thumbnail, I was thinking that you went for your favourite teahouse again! But now I see it's a little temple in a different location.
Very nice reflections there in between the duckweed. That's really the name in English! I translated it online from the Dutch 'eendekroos'. What is it called in German?? Ente wasserlinse? :-)
Greetings! Dennis

hi Wolfgang
A nice setting of green and making good advantage of the narrow stream of water for that reflection in your POV, the vertical format works great for this shot. Good summer's day scene.

Hi Wolfang,
I like the lights in this picture and the quiet atmosphere.
Green is a difficult color in Photography as well as in fine arts. Here you show a complete series of green tones. The light balance is excellent. Very good. Please, put your shoting data, they are useful to understand how a picture has been captured.

Hello Wolfgang, I have seen photos of this Temple before but this is the most creative I have seen, the colours, light are good but the best part of this scene is the reflection, well realised.

Hello Wolfgang,
There are two opposite points of view of the same subject in the same shot!I like the quiet temple which dominate the field reminding us the Roman Empire leading. And then, the reflection is more mysterious, erased in part by the vegetation around as a souvenir. This cohabitation is really well done and the shot so refreshing!
Regards,
Claude.

Wolfgang,
that is fantastic and I admire how well you managed the light here. The upper part has a lot of light with the potential of overexposure and the lower portion dark as it is the potential of underexposure. None of it happened, both spots are balanced, right on spot. The detail of the temple as partial reflection surrounded by all the green is extremely good.
