an diesem Bild fasziniert mich am meisten, wie sich die Mauer so schwungvoll durchs Bild zieht, klasse gesehen und toll umgesetzt, mein Kompliment..

I like this separation light/shadow of both sides of the wall and those 2 people dressed in black standing in the sun, all this included in a curve

This is a well composed shot using the curving wall to lead the eye through the shot. The people add a nice sense of scale to the scene as well as giving the shot life. The lighting and colors are great with excellent sharpness and detail. Where is this place and what is the wall.
A note would be helpful here!

A very interesting and well conceived composition which makes good use of the curving wall to define the division between light and shadow. The people are ideally placed in the frame and contribute much to the mood of the image. I like it.

A marvellous photo! Your composition here is really great, with the curving wall, the brilliant light falling on the snow, the trees, and of course the well placed two figures walking. I think the shot has very good clarity and the snow is well exposed to keep the details. Very good indeed.

From a high POV you have used the wall cleverly to sweep round the image. The couple walking among the trees is a good addition to the scene. A note would be welcome though.

Hat's Euch also auch erwischt ;-))
So ist winter am schönsten und wenn man dann noch die Zeit hat, rauszugehen - toll! Hier gefällt mir neben dem Wetter natürlich dieser wunderschöne, irgendwie dynamische Bildaufbau und das Licht-/Schattenspiel.

an excellent perspective depicted here with lovely snow season. Excellent graphical presntation with tree trunks adding beauty to it. Lighting is also well exploited. Brilliant composition.

Very simple, but very nice shot ... Perfect framing, with the curve, the three and the people to catch the eye.

Good work on the light to, between shadow and light on the snow ...

Hello Wolf,
Nothing better than a hard snow, frozen ground, and that crisp crunchy feeling under one's foot.. Let's go for a walk indeed! The separation of the scene, from sunlit to shadow, with the different hues, is really pleasant to see. And of the course the curving wall with the few inches of snow -- I can just imagine being a child again and jumping up there making the first footprints of the day :) Nice shot.

I know 2009 has been here a week or so, but Happy New Year to you.

Hello Wolfgang, I this this composition, curved wall, trees, people & the excellent way you managed the light. It looks very cold but the sun has a very warm glow.

Hi Wolfgang, this is an interesting composition, with the graceful curve of the wall and the two sharp black-clad figures contrasted with the white snow. I would have been tempted to crop some of the shadowy right foreground, but that's just a personal preference. Great shot.

Hallo Wolfgang,
tolle Aufnahme dieser geschwungenen Mauer in winterlicher Atmosphäre.
Mir gefällt hier besonders der Kontrast zwischen Licht und Schatten. Es scheint als ob die Mauer die Sonne auf die linke Seite begrenzt, während rechts der Mauer alles im Schatten liegt. Toll gesehen und eindrucksvoll festgehalten. Mein Kompliment.
