Photographer's Note
This house has been preserved with all its distortions ...It ts the typical Timber Fram houses that was almost brought down by natural calamities. There is a small daily-provisions store on the shop on the right.
The first and second floors are rented out to tourists. I have a feeling - they cahrge more for accomodation in that narrow, bent, uneven building.
I have seen this building on photographs - but I wonder how many actually went there and asked for rooms there.

Hi Arunava,
Thanks for sharing a unique and wonderful place. not many buildings make me smile like I do looking at this. I get the idea that the art work they have painted on the exterior makes the strange tilts even more noticable, and this creates a brilliant effect. The orange on blue, and orange building framing the shot makes it very unique. Would I stay here? Hmm, I dont know if I would feel fully safe :)
Best wishes

Hello Arunava,
It seems that if this house finaly collapses it will fall fairy quietly onto the roof of the next building, so not much harm will be done :-)
Indeed a very funny building painted in stunning colours and patterns. I am sure the local authorities wouldn't dream of trying to correct the distortions. It must be the greatest attraction of the town.
Thanks for sharing,
Gert

Hello Arunava
Well, well, this looks dangerous. But knowing the germans I think this is well secured and will endure for a long time to come. It makes obviously a great motive, witch you have captured very well with vivid colors and a nice clarity.
Have a great week

Hi Arunava,
Interesting picture. Great colours and sharpness. This building is surely tilting to the left. Nice composition.

Hi Arunava,
How amazing!Beautiful colour. I do remember that I have seen some didtorted buildings. There is a church in Chestfield, England. It's famous for its Crooked Spire. (sorry, I don't know how to insert a link on TE, but I thought that you may interested in:-))

Hello Arunava,
A fine capture of this rather quirky looking house that is still standing after all these years. I like the contrasting colours and the excellent detail to be seen in the architecture. Thanks for sharing.

What an odd little building! Good to see that it is being kept up, and promoted as a tourist attraction - may as well get something out of it before it goes. The colors here are stunning, and I like how the paint design accentuates the crooked second floor.

Arunava
Tilting and modernism.
Here, distort the tradition saved.
Intelligent have saturated the color, both you and the architect.
The eye does not know where there is marked distortion or shadow effects.
