ENG:The Frankfurt Zoological Garden is the zoo of Frankfurt, Germany. It features over 5,000 animals of more than 600 species on more than 13 hectares. The zoo was founded in 1858 and is the second oldest Zoo in Germany. It lies in the eastern part of the Innenstadt (inner city). Former director of the zoo was Bernhard Grzimek.
The Frankfurt Zoological Society (FZS) was founded in 1858 by citizens of Frankfurt citizens to establish the Zoological Garden, which it operated until the First World War. The city council then assumed responsibility for the zoo until 1950, when the FZS again became the zoo's development association.

like this! Beautifully composed and executed with a real "muppet show" feel about it. The expressions and originality here are wonderful as is the sharpness of the main singer. Excellent!

Bonjour Chris,

Effectivement, les iguanes ont vraiment l'air de chanter en coeur. Probablement s'adressent-ils au soleil au dessus de leur tête.. La contre plongée leur donne une belle ampleur.

First, correct the name of the town in the note. I must admit looking at those Iguanas, never can understand some people have them at home as pets.
Small Aligator's descendents... Fine taken from a side profile, inspite of the backlight there.

you caught a funny and nice scene, with these two iguanas, and one of them seems to sing indeed.
A good work with the focus and with the field depth, which increases the three-dimensional sensation of the ensemble.
The subtlety of the light adds a very special atmosphere to the composition.

Very nice, different and attractive composition, with this pair of iguanas, I like the POV with the same plane in a corner and looking about at the top .... something caught his attention.
Good game of shadows and light in the composition, it has a good color and sharpness.

Πολύ δροσερό φωτογραφία της φύσης, παρόλο που έκανε στο ζωολογικό κήπο. Μεγάλη χρήση του βάθους πεδίου της εικόνας και υπέροχα χρώματα.

Good Morning Chris,

This is a beautifully composed shot and works well with the title.
It is not so often that we see a shot so carefully focussed on the m/g. Sometimes other photographers don't realise the intention and chastise for a blurred f/g. I like this very much and applaud your intention.

I am a very big fan of a Zoo visit, every year to two different Zoo's in Belgium, Antwerp and Planckendael.
A nice image for the Dutch Tv "Animal Crackers" singing animals!
Your picture is very well taken.
Sharpness and clarity are perfect.

I actually like iguanas. :-) Your capture is funny, and it does look like that one iguana is giving a performance of some kind. Your focus is very good, and so is the soft blurring of the background. Even reptiles can show some personality for the camera. :-)
