This photo is taken from the plane, which approached the landing to Frankfurt. I love the views, which are very impressive and beautiful. I hope you will enjoy.

Frankfurt is a city of contrasts. Wealthy bankers, students and granola drop-outs coexist in a city that has some of the highest, most avant-garde skyscrapers of Europe next to well maintained old buildings. The downtown area, especially Römer square and the museums at the River Main, draw millions of tourists every year. On the other hand, many off the beaten track neighborhoods, such as Bockenheim, Bornheim, Nordend and Sachsenhausen, with their intact beautiful 19th century streets and parks are often overlooked by visitors.

Frankfurt is the place where Germany's major autobahns and railways intersect. About 650,000 people commute to the city each day, not counting the 691,000 people who really live here. With a huge airport — the third-largest in Europe — it is the gateway to Germany and for many people also the first point of arrival in Europe. Further, it is a prime hub for interconnections within Europe and for intercontinental flights.

Frankfurt has the highest percentage of immigrants in Germany: about 25% (660,000) of Frankfurt's people have no German passport and another 10% are naturalized German citizens. With about 35% immigrants, Frankfurt is the most diverse of German cities.

Frankfurt is home to many museums, theatres and a world-class opera.

Witaj Barbaro,
bardzo mi sie bodobaja takie ujecia widziane z lotu ptaka.Tez bylem we Frankfurcie(niestety tylko na lotnisku,choc mam w planach zwiedzic i miasto).Zdjecie o znakomitej ostrosci,detale sa oddane z duza starannoscia.Swietne swiatlo oraz dobrze uchwycone naturalne kolory.
Udalo ci sie zwiedzic samo miasto,czy byl to tylko(jak dla wielu turystow)miejsce przesiadkowe do dalszej podrozy?

a wonderful aerial view of a very important city. Clarity is impressive and those who know the city will surely enjoy looking for streets and landmarks they are familiar with. i'm always amazed at how well some of these plane-window photo's turn out because those windows can look rather dirty and smudgy!
again, great qaulity!
very sharp, and you even paid close attention to the placement of the river passing through the 1/3 area of the frame.

A very good POV, I'm surprised at the clarity given that it was taken through a thick and dirty window and the plane was moving at 500 miles an hour. The view is beautiful, nice and sharp and coloured superbly. Nice work.

to take this kind of shots isn't so easy beacause the windows can be full of marks or dirty or even the sky can be full of smoke. here you got a nice image, we can enjoy the urban patterns and the presence of the river. nice job.
