Photographer’s Note

Yesterday, after a long time passed, I went out for some nightshots.

I visited the river Elb and the harbor of Hamburg. We had lovely 25° in the evening, a nice summer day.

Why do I love nightshots?
Because after the motive for me the exposure counts a lot.
It is always a "game" to see, if you can give back the light conditions as they were (no overexposure, details in the shadows et cetera), which is technically with one shot almost not possible.

Here I used as always in my nightshots the DRI method, which after years I have speziliazed and optimized.

The white thin frame I added, because I found a lot of photos of mine stolen in the internet.

Hope you like it.
