Photographer’s Note

Another capture from the main shopping street (Soegestrasse) of Bremen. An artist perfroming her art. Most probably this wonderfull artwork will not have the same faith as its original; it will disappear after a few hours.
Here the major difference; unlike in many similar cases (street artists) her a female artist !

Bremen'in alış veriş merkezlerinin yer aldığı Soegestrasse'den bir görüntü.
Bir sokak ressamı sanatını icra ediyor. Elindeki orijinalden farklı olarak bu nefis sanat eserinin maalesef çok uzun bir ömrü olmayacak; birkaç saat sonra silinip gidecek.
Diğer sokak ressamlarından farklı olarak buradaki sanaçı bir kadın sanatçı.
Bu kare de eski bir Ektachrome dia'dan tarandı.

Hello Mesut,

Nice. Very sharp face here on the floor and the legs reminding me of the street in 'street-art'. A bit too central perhaps in the composition, but I like it for the tones in the drawing opposed to the rather grey surrounding.

Guten Morgen, Mesut!
Ein schon in der kleinen Version interessantes Bild. Dieses eindringliche Gesicht auf dem dunklen Grund hat etwas faszinierendes. Vielleicht hättest Du etwas näher herangehen sollen - aber dann wären die interessanten Schatten verlorengegangen. Dieses Foto ist wirklich "intriguing".

Hallo Mesut! Unglaublich was diese Strassenkuenstler fuer Werke vollbringen, die Geduld, die sie aufbringen, nur um mit dem naechsten Regenguss einfach wieder fortgewischt zu werden. Ich finde das dann immer so schade. Was aber bleibt sind Erinnerungen wie diese, festgehalten auf Fotos, somit bleiben sie irgendwie doch erhalten, und das ist schoen. Gute Strassenreportage, lebendig und spontan. Beste Gruesse, schoenes Wochenende, Barbara.

Fotoğraf çekmeyi sevmemin nedenlerinden biri de bu; fotoğrafı oluşturan parçalar silinip gitse de, unutulsa da fotoğrafa bakınca o sahne bire bir canlanıyor yeniden. Yeter ki fotoğraflarımızın başına birşey gelmesin :)
Ressamın resmi de, sizin fotoğrafınız da çok güzel olmuş.

A very good focusing on the artist and the art. The street life around is there but does not take away the interest from the central motive. definitely a very fine capture and also a very good scan!

I like the result that comes from the combination sof stillness and movement.
Stilness from the figures on the left and the drawing in the pavement, and movement from the figures on the right and the artist working.
I also like how she becomes the main theme in the photo along with the drawing (ofcourse her white clothes help a lot)

Hallo Mesut. Als ich das Thumbnail sah dachte ich zuerst an irgendeine Straße in Istanbul. Aber nein, es ist Bremen; hierbei muss ich anfügen, dass Bremen noch ein weißer Fleck auf meiner persönlichen Landkarte ist. Aber die Straßenmalerei ist ja nicht auf Bremen beschränkt, deswegen ist das Photo in gewisser Weise zeitlos und ortsungebunden. Ich sehe mir die Straßenmalerei immer an, weil manchmal auch außergewöhnliche Motive zu sehen sind. Auch sind die Künstler unterschiedlich begabt. Man sieht hohe Kunst, aber auch sehr bescheidene Werke. Mit Deinem Photo hast Du die Gesamtszene sehr schön eingefangen. Viele Grüße, wolfgang.

Birkaç saat sonra silinmeyecek bu sanat eseri çünkü bir usta tarafından ölümsüzleştirilmiş, çok şanslıymış bu sokak ressamı , siz varmışsınız çünkü Mesut Bey.

It's very interesting and nice, the man concentrated in his work, lonely even in the full streets. I like too the shadows surroinding him!

Hi Maseut, Very nice picture. The street painting looks quite elaborate and it is a pity it will disappear soon - like the artwork made from sand or ice. How tenderly the artist touches her work! Other people are not so much interested. Very old image! Good quality after so many years.

Habe ich schon ewig lange nicht mehr gesehen und in meiner Stadt ist es nicht erlkaubt.
Guter POV und perfekt wie das Licht auf den künstler und sein werk fällt.Die langen schatten runden das bild ab.

Amazing how the artist could get such good color on a paving stone and that you could capture it so well. It's hard to believe that someone would put so much effort into such transitory beauty - but perhaps that's what makes it beautiful - like the beauty of real flowers when compared to artificial flowers.

Hello Mesut,
It is most imprssive how those eyes gaze up at us from the pavement. The face seems to radiate light on to the artist. I guess her white trousers will not stay white very long!
Interesting and enjoyable portrait of a portrait of a portrait!

Diyorum ki, (ulkemizde yeteri kadar degeri verilmeyen) sokak ressamlari cizimlerine baslamadan once, onlarin farketmemeleri icin karo-parke tas cizgileri olan tuval gotursem alana...yerin uzerine koysam, onlar boyadiktan sonra alsam ve Il Halk Kutuphanesi, Belediye, Valilik gibi binalarin ic mekan duvarlarina assam. Ne yagmur'dan, ne camurdan ne de kardan etkilenir. O binalara girince de gozumuz, gonlumuz acilir. Biliyorum utopik ama hayal iste.
Mesut Bey, harika bir paylasim. Netlik, aci harika. Elinize, yureginize saglik.

Merhaba Mesut. You chose to take this shot at the most dramatic time of day when the shadows are long and those areas lit by the sun really stand out. AND what a fortunate time too when the light lit up the face so that it seems to emerge from the ground like a brilliant apparition.A clever shot Mesut. Selamlar. Klaudio.

An interesting capture of the street artist in action with a good play with the light/shade . As you said, this artwork would disappear but in fact not completely because you've immortalized it ;)
