Photographer’s Note
I believe this is one of the most magnificent structures in the world. It sits in the Marienplatz, the center of Munich. It has a fantastic Glockenspiel. Just a beautiful buidling. I have been there many times, and it is always crowded with visitors admiring the structure.

Hellol Roger,
A view that well captures the Rathous but also the relaxed atmosphere around it. And I know, not much space to include the whole building in one good photo. Well done.

Paul

Hi Roger,
Now we were in the same city on the same day. I was only a few streets away at this time. I was on a street closed to traffic on this day (Sunday) to celebrate a theme they called "city life".
It's quite a difficult photo to take especially with the lighting ... bright sky and strong shadow within Marienplatze. But here you balanced lighting well. I had a photo posted taken in 2006 of Marienplaze from the tower of St Peter HERE Regards. Latiff.

Hi Roger,
Magnificent German architecture seen in all its intricate details as it stands out beautifully against the silver grey sky.
The square is full of exciting human activity.

I like the graphism of that picture, Roger. I respect your efforts to incorporate the ground and the top of the tour. It was not easy, friend. Many thanks,
Branko

Ciao dear Roger,
yes, I agree with you, this is the most beautiful and suggestive square of Munich, populated always from tourists and so many street artists. The triumph of the Gothic style. Excellent image, compliments!
Ciao, have a nice w.e.!

Hallo Roger!
Yes, the Rathaus of München is a really magnificent building and there's a lot of interesting life around it. You show it from an advantageous angle here - but I think the distortion, caused by the lens, is a bit distracting here. I made a workshop concerning this matter - and I hope you aren't offended.
Greetings from autumnal but still mild Germany!

Hi Roger,
now I see what You meant by *cropped version*,yes, it is :-)
I would admit that this an amazing architecture that was preserved till nowadays and the most admiring thing that it was rebuilt to its original condition after WWII's svere bombings.
Amazing architecture and amazing people!
Cheers,
Mike
