Photographer’s Note
The route from Edmund-Probst-Haus to the Oytal is one of the most scenically rewarding trails of the entire Allgäu Alps. While sure-footedness is a pre-requisite in some very narrow and exposed sections, it requires above all stamina. It is a long walk with some steep ascend & descend and finally a long descend to the Oy Valley. Photo taken shortly after leaving Edmund-Probst-Haus. On lower right you see cable cars that can take you to the top of the Nebelhorn (2224M). The Nebelhornbahn cable car system originates not far from the town center of Oberstdorf. On the left rising above the saddle you can see the Höfats (2259M). In the middle is a valley covered in clouds.
The Allgäu Alps, though not the highest in Germany, it is considered the most popular hiking destination in Germany or at least equal in popularity to the Wetterstein Group around Zugspitze. Two fifth of the Allgäu Alps is in Austrian territory.

Hello Latiff, Spectacular view of the Allgaue area. This is an excellent photo of the landscape. The fog, clouds and blue sky provide a beautiful background for the red roofed building and terrain below. I assume you hiked this stretch, camera in hand. Wonderful. I was in this general area about a week before you took this shot. In fact, we had a delicious lunch at Oberstaufen, which is not too far from this area. We spend a lot of time in Bregenz, Austria, which is on the threshhold to the Allgaue. Very nicely done.. Roger

Hai Latiff,
It really a nice photo. With blue sky above, cleared ground and a misty between them. Here the rule of third really applied. One third of it was blue sky, another one third was that misty and another pne third was that ground. The house and road give something extra to this photo. tfs.

Hi Latiff
Nice foggy mountain vista, I like your shot very much. It has something of a fairytale, but at the other side Nebelhorn means nothing less the fog summit, so there must be fog. Nice framing with fog, darker FG and blue sky with white clouds to the right. Well done
best regards

Oh, Latiff,
what a view!! I love the winding road that ends at the structure there. Incredible color, MAD good POV looking down on the clouds, the soft blue sky peeking through, the faint view of the cable cars. That is simply mind boggling to me. I would have to have a helicopter take me up there...LOL Just awesome. Many thanks and kind regards,
Shellt
