Photographer’s Note

This is Our Lady's Church in Nuremberg Germany.
On the east side of the square in Nuremberg is the Gothic Frauenkirche (Church of Our Lady, 1352-61; R.C.). Above the porch with its rich sculptural decoration is the "Männleinlaufen," an old clock with mechanical figures (the seven Electors pacing round the Emperor Charles IV - a reference to the promulgation of the Golden Bull in 1356; performances daily at noon). Notable features of the interior are the Tucher Altar (c. 1440) and two handsome monuments by Adam Krafft.

Hi Asa,
really thanks for sharing that. I have probably said that already but I lived for a year in Erlangen close to Nuremberg, so I had a chance to visit Nuremberg many times and yet I don't have any reasonable shots from that place, I was not that much into photography at that time. So I am grateful that you share this pretty postcard. This church has a very unique architecture and I like that very much, as well as whole Nuremberg old town.

Excellent high POV where you have nice view oft the square in front of the church. Wonderful presentation of the church. A bit unfortunate that it seems to be squeezed between modern buildings. It is easy to imagine how beautiful this place could have been with better city planning. TFS and have a nice Sunday!

L'église prend une place importante dans la composition, l'oeil est immédiatement attiré par ce très vénérable édifice religieux (point fort de la composition). De plus, ce jour de marché agrémente joliment l'ensemble.
Une image très agréable à contempler.

Great light to have this architecture shot and showing some good history heritage of the churches. Amazing is it not, just to look at the facade and roof feature?

The entrance arches are enough to make good subject for many shots!
