Kloster Höglwörth Photo

Photographer’s Note

Das St. Peter und Paul geweihte Augustiner-Kloster wurde 1125 durch Erzbischof Konrad I. von Salzburg gegründet. Höglwörth blieb als einziges Stift in Bayern von der Säkularisation verschont, da es erst 1816, mit dem Salzburgischen "Rupertiwinkel" an Bayern fiel. Das Kloster setzte seine Aufhebung 1817 selbst durch. Dies war die letzte vom bayerischen Staat durchgeführte Säkularisation. Das Kloster kam in Privatbesitz. Das Kloster mit seiner Rokokokirche auf einer Halbinsel im See stellt eines der schönsten Ensembles im östlichen Oberbayern dar.

Georg,
Your composition is great with the off center placement of the church. The cow and people in the foreground were a nice addition. The lighting and colors are great as is the sharpness and clarity of the shot. The reflection adds nice depth to the scene.

Wieder ein wunderschönes Architekturfoto mi viieel Landschaft drum herum. Schöner kann man diesen Ort wohl kaum zeigen. Eine Szene wie aus dem Bilderbuch!

ce que j'aime avec toi, est que nous montres de superbes photos de ta région, aussi belles les unes que les autres, on a l'impression de suivre un guide, et merci car ici encore, une belle vue plongeante sur ce chateau ou église avec cet arrondi de bassin ou de fleuve, cette nature avec des tons de vert dégradés, wonderfull (mais je comprends pas l'allemand, désolée)
