Photographer’s Note

On the weekend I made my first experiences with the Sigma 10-20 mm. All I can say is that it is very impressive to see the result of such a wide angle shot.
This picture was taken on the way from Walchensee to Urfeld. I put the horizont in the middle to emphazise the beautiful reflection.
So I hope you like my first 10 mm shot :-)

Ich habe seit ein paar Monate das gleiche Objektiv (für meine Canon aber). Die Fotos mit einem Weitwinkel sehen klasse aus, wie hier. Die Farben, Ausleuchtung und die Spiegelung sind toll. Das Foto ist auch so scharf und rein, dass sogar die Steinen in der Tiefe sichtbar sind. Leider machen das Dach der Hütte und die Linien am Wasser den Eindruck, als ob das Bild schief wäre. Aber das ist nur eine optische Täuschung.

Thats a serene and etheeral capture of this calm piece of landscape swathed in rich colours and etxtures. the view is superb. You have a lovely pov and composition

Marvelous view, nice symmetry, excellent composition and sharpness. This Sigma lens can capture really wide landscape :)

Amazing reflection, Manuel. Great color and clarity. God job with the lighting and composition, too. I think reflection shots should usually break the 1/3s rule, too. I love that lens. It's almost touch to beleive that this was shot at 10mm, though -- the scale here must be fairly large. And wait till you shoot something with even more detail, the lens really fills the frame with fine details.
