Photographer’s Note
The medieval town of Regensburg is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and has buildings spanning almost two centuries. The ancient Roman, Romanesque and Gothic buildings, including the City Hall and Cathedral survived the ravages of WWII. The city is home to medieval houses, towers, churches and abbeys.
The Stone Bridge is a masterpiece of medieval engineering that has survived 850 years. It is the oldest preserved stone bridge in Germany as was, for hundreds of years, the only way to get into Regensburg.

Hello Asa,
A very good capture of this towered gateway, with the bridge making a good lead line. Very good colours and clarity. The tower seems to be leaning somewhat to the right. Is this due to age?

Hallo Asa!
You've seen a lot of Germany - and I hope you liked it. I've never been in Regensburg - but I must go there. Your picture is a very inviting one, caught in a beautiful light. I also like the life there on the bridge ...
Unfortunately the tower is a bit inclined.
Greetings from - today - rainy Germany!

Hi Asa,
Very nice architecture, very colorful. You choosed a good point of view wit the bridge showing us the way ! I find strange that you used polarizer because colors are not so great. It also looks like there is a problem with the tower which leans a little to the right. I think this is due to great angle that creates converging lines, something you can correct with a software like ShiftN (one I discovered thanks to TE !).
Regards,
Olivier

Hi Asa,
Beautiful view across cobblestoned bridge through a gate to old town. The bell tower looks good on it's strategic position. Magnificient and well preserved architecture. Bit of perspective correction would be useful to set the tower upright.

Hello Asa,
The point of view is perfect. I am always astonished by the often coloured frontages of the German medieval cities. Architecture is splendid and very interesting. An excellent photograph of good quality.

Hello Asa,
well, that is what we all have with wide angles: distortion and non parallel verticals. Distortion can be corrected by PP but straightening remains an individual compromise. (Though I heard of a software that could handle this problem as well.) In the WS I have sent you my version with distortion correction and slightly different straightening. Not perfect, only different.
As for the note: did not you want to write not two but twenty centuries?
And as for the photo: a nice picture from the beautiful Regensburg, I hope you will upload more photos from here.
Have a nice weekend!

Hi Asa,
The stone bridge makes the perfect lead in to the lovely traditional medieval German architecture.
The yellow, red and white structures stand out beautifully against the clear blue sky.
