Photographer’s Note

One of the figures of "Schöner Brunnen " (The Beautiful Fountain) of Nüremberg (Nürnberg). This Gothic fountain (XIV ième), decorating the marketplace, count with its 40 figures, among the most popular curiosities of the city. Everything in the top of this pyramid of 19 m we re-know Moses and the prophets, down 7 princes-voters and a series of 9 heroes: 3 classic arts, 3 Jews and 3 Christians. The photo represents one of these last ones.
I would have wanted to present you a general view of this fountain but, arrived little late, under a grey sky, the light was not good. Besides, the beer festival was going full swing on the marketplace.... not easy to find a good POV! I put all the same an a little wider sight of the fountain in WS with background Frauenkirche.

Images à couper le souffle tant la beauté de ces sculptures est prenante.
Un véritable musée en plein air. Un grand merci pour l'atelier nous permettant d'apprécier en grandeur nature la magnificence de l'ensemble.
Un lieu à visiter sans aucun doute.
La catégorie "oeuvres d'art" n'est pas usurpée.
Un vrai cadeau.

un bon portrait avec des couleurs qui attire l'oeil déjà dans la vignette, un bokeh presque parfait ,j'aurai ouvert encore plus pour réduite le fond surtout avec un 17-55 a 2.8

superbe captage de ce détail de cette fontaine, on diriant un être viviant, avec cês dorurues, cette postiiton, ces main, l'autre personnage en fond les yeux grand vouvert, fantastique.

J'avais d'abord cru en voyant la miniature que c'étaient des vrais personnages, comme des rois mages... Magnifique détail d'une étonnante sculpture, quelle splendeur et si bien conservée ! Le WS est aussi intéressant.

I was captured by this shot of yours: you composed the picture so well that the figure of the man seems almost alive, surrounded by a rich court in golden dressing...
Great sharpness and beautifully saturated colors do the rest!
