Photographer’s Note
Market Day in Nuremberg! These brightly colored carts, tents and trailers represented places to purchase everything from fresh vegetables to hand made crafts. Many booths offered prepared food to nourish the busy shopper.
Nuremberg is a city in the German state of Bavaria, in the administrative region of Middle Franconia. It is situated on the Pegnitz river and the Rhine-Main-Danube Canal and is Franconia's largest city. It is located about 170 kilometers north of Munich with a Population of around 500,000.
Thanks to Frank Kaiser (Buin) I now know why all of the carts have red stripped roofs. The red stripes are part of the emblem for Nuremberg check link

Hello Asa,
A good high point of view over this market, which seems about to open for business. The interesting architecture makes a fine backdrop for the striped stalls.

Bonjour Asa

Hallo Asa!
A beautiful and colourful scenery. I like the summerly atmopshere in the picture very much. I've never seen such a consistently red/white striped market before -but I found out the reason. Please look here ;-)
It's the emblem of Nürnberg.
Greetings from - today - sunny Germany!

Hello Asa,
There are few people, I suppose that the market is not started yet. It is astonishing to see a stall of Mediterranean specialities. The striped colors of the tents brighten this site. A beautiful and interesting image, of daily life, and architecture since one sees frontages and bell-towers. Congratulations.

Your fairly high POV allows us to admire the repeating pattern of the red & white stripes. The precise patterns of the windows in the buildings add more interst. It is not a very busy market. I wonder where the people are.

Hello Asa, it is a beautiful point of view a little in diving, very beautiful effect, which is beautiful also, it is the red and white uniformity with stripes of all the gravers, that confers on this place an impression of cleanliness or all is in its place, sincerely ...............Bonjour Asa, c’est un beau point de vue un peu en plongée, très belle effet, ce qui est beau également, c’est l’uniformité rouge et blanche à rayures de toutes les échoppes, cela confère à cette place une impression de propreté ou tout est à sa place, bien amicalement

Hi Asa
A nice shot of market day presumably before opening. It must be a colourful place to be when the market is in full swing.

Hi Asa,
The open air market concession stands are seen in wonderfully clear color and sharpness.
The pale blue sky makes the ideal background for the beautiful German architecture to stand out against.

Bonjour Asa,

Amicalement
Jean-Luc
