Munich. Odeon Square. Hall of generals, right next to the Theatines Church.
I took a picture because I was interested in the bride and groom. Of course, I saw the girl in front of the lion.

the people are there of course, and i like a lot your b&w tonality. what makes this photo especially impressive is the feeling of grandeur coming with your monumental lion as well as the low pov. superb work.

The low viewpoint is perfect for both sets of subjects. Good choice of black and white to heighten the mood. All the world loves a bride, so they say.

J'aime beaucoup cette composition noir et blanc, car il y a beaucoup d'histoires qui se déroulent en même temps.Bizarrement, les jeunes filles ont l'air plus heureuses que les nouveaux mariés.

This is an inspiring photo. You managed to capture three small groups of people, all with their own agendas, and it would be possible to make up a story about each little group: what were they doing here, what were they thinking, what happened afterwards, etc? The excellent greyscale is also inspiring. This is a photo I could watch for a long time.

Another beautiful composition with lovely framing. I liked the spontaneity with which you photographec the married couple while maintaining the accuracy of the framing. Beautiful sharpness in the grey scale.
Thanks for sharing and have a nice weekend.

Beautiful daily life-picture with different groups of people each with their own specific reason to be present there at that time.
Best regards, Paul

Hi Wolfgang. The smiles of the beautiful girls should be on the faces of the newly married couple, but then she is more concerned about the steps. As usual, much to admire in your photo, things like the POV, sharpness of image, great light and the choosing of when to click.Regards. Klaudio.

Indeed, an interesting scene this! I would even say that not realistic in some way. Perfectly captured and spotted with a superb sense of the moment.
Have a nice afternoon,

I love this with its different groups of people on the steps and statue. We can all make our own interpretation of events that day and the different reasons for them being there.
High quality b/w photography.
Kind Regards, Ann

2 couples ignoring the other, that's street life!

Hello Wolfgang - Three sets of people, three narratives. Well balanced with a strong diagonal line stepping down from the lion's head to the bride and I love the bright personalities of the two girls under the statue.

Seems you got two different scenes in only one photo! Really great, this composition, with the big lion, the two smilig girls, probably posing for a photo, and also the couple coming down the stairs. A very good b&w!
