Munich. Spring. The weather is beautiful and the people are outdoors. And what people do? They stand side by side and are busy with their mobile phones.

He,he,he! A scene from daily life anywhere in the world these days. Well observed, I like it.

I'm not sure if I am amused or saddened Wolfgang. Everyone seems to be living in their own technological bubble. The art of conversation seems to have disappeared save for a quick whatsapp
Warm regards Rosemary

It's spring and the mobile phones are blooming...This photo definitely shows the epidemic of mobile phone addiction. It's amazing that there was a whole line of men doing the exact same thing at the same time. I think B/W works well here. Let's hope they look up once in a while...

Hmm, it is very amazing scene, Wolfgang. Your photo makes me smile. So different people have the same amusement or very serious business. Well done, funny daily life report.

a well seen scene. Sharp and a well balanced composition. You have done really well for a snatched street shot. B & W a good choice.
Don't suppose you got much conversation out of these guys.

The group of people do seem oblivious of their surroundings and of each other. The virtual world does seem to engage most people much more than the real one. The photo is excellent with great clarity and fine dof. The texture of the wall and the reflections in the glass make a really interesting backdrop.
Thanks for sharing and have a nice day.

bonne observation et bonne prise de vue sous un angle intéressant; toutes ces personnes absorbées par le téléphone, sont en fait isolées, du chacun pour soi.
La scène est très bien présentée.

What makes me really surprised with this photo is that the man to the left is just standing there, doing nothing. What a useless person, having no important messages to send or receive. What is his purpose in life?
This is actually the kind of photo I always want to take. You observed this very well, also capturing some interesting postures, even managing to include some fine reflections, all in a neat B&W treatment.

probabilmente stanno leggendo la notizia dell'arrivo della primavera dalle loro applicazioni....
Bello scatto, ma soprattutto, fantastico titolo.

Hello Wolf, It is such an amusing photo. well observed and presented. The people are really addicted to their gadgets. Who could imagine it twenty years ago? Now almost impossible to go somewhere without mobile, i had to live without any telephone for more than twenty years. Unbelievable how the world is changing. For better or for worse.
Excellent street life shot.

A good capture of modern life! What did we do when we had no mobile phones? A very interesting picture!

I love this piece of observational photography. And I wonder what everybody has to say that's so vital it can't wait until they see the person. We communicate more and more about less and less. Thank God for technology.

Hi Wolfgang. Somehow I feel that your photos are and will become a record of the transition in human evolution/behaviour as mankind drifts away more and more from the natural world and becomes immersed in the technologies provided. Spring becomes irrelevant and probably unnoticed in some cases. Great shot. Regards. Klaudio.

Excellent shot and very funny. I love it. It is a way of life this day. Our live depend on this little hand-helds. Wonder how we used to live without it for years. Even when I travel to the remote village of Ethiopia, they now have one of these too, texting while driving a donkey. At least is safer than texting while driving a car.

The illness of the XXIth century or the modern way to pray?
Good street photography, no need of colors

A common scene on any modern town, Wolfgang, only one guy not decided wether to answer his cell...
There is a fine reflection of town houses on the big waindow, maybe a color version would enhanced this. My humble opinion, merely. Nice taken the moment.

Ha, ha, I know this:-))
There are trains full of them, when they sit down, the first thing what they do, is to take their telephones, nice picture:-))
