The smart phones are a part of modern life for many people. For some people it's just a toy to pass the time. In any case, smartphones are everywhere. And I think that's just the beginning of a future communication.

Hi Wolfgang. One would hope that with such accessible communication and information the young would become more aware and have greater empathy towards each other. I am not sure if that is the case. we had a young politician here say ask in a public forum if Islam was a country!Anyway, it is a wonderful shot, a record of current trends and it has that indelible Schanze touch. Always a pleasure to see your work. Klaudio.

pensavo fosse un vizio molto italiano, ma a quanto vedo è un male comune.
Ottimo scatto metropolitano, molto attuale.

This is a beautifully composed street shot, where the timing is of utmost value. Each one of the mobile holder is unique, and is busy with his/her own way, what you have described here as communication.
what makes her embrace her one leg with the another is the highlight of this lovely shot.
Cheers for this beautiful upload.

a nice moment here from modern age youngers... 'The Mobile', which is used as a mode of communication worldwide... and that for the younger it is used as a time-passing device... The real entertainer for those time when they haven't to do anything... You framed it very well. Excellent picture quality. Nice colours and perfect light. Superb one. Tfs.

Je considère que c'est la maladie du siècle. Ils pourraient simplement parler entre eux au lieu d'être rivé à leur écran tactile.Le cadrage est excellent et le petit côté comique est superbe.

This is the modern time, everyone is completely day busy with smart phones, I can not understand who these people always SMS send or twitter or face book, I have also a GSM alone for use when this is required.
You create an excellent daily life picture, also perfect depth and perspective.
Excellent composition, nice presentation.
Very well done, TFS.
Have a nice weekend,

Funny observation. I admit, sometimes I get too much into my smartphone and I look like them, addicted...
Nice idea, enjoy a great weekend.

How on earth did the human race manage to exist before these 'wonders' of the modern age Wolfgang. Love them or hate them it's impossible to ignore them! What a super shot and a great commentary on life as it is lived now. Warm regards Rosemary

A wonderful picture that I would have loved to take. It tells a lot about the world today. It probably shows the first ever totally global conformity of behaviour. Never before in the history of mankind have people on all continents spent their days being absorbed by the same kind of small device they carry with them everywhere. A very good observation.

A terrific capture, this is incredibly telling of our current day and age! I'm not sure whether to laugh, or shake my head at this scene. Either way, it's an photo to appreciate for its social commentary, as well as a smart observation and a well executed take. Makes me wonder if the people are actually speaking to each other as they look at their phones, or doing so only through text?? :) A brilliant image! Have a good day ahead.
All the best,
