Photographer's Note
Olympic stadium in Munich, 40 years after the infamous Palestinian attack on the Israeli team.
Image shows how the concept of a football and athletics stadium has changed during four decades. More than half of the seats in Munich are not covered by any roof. On the other hand, Munich Olympic Stadium forms a trough in an artificial landscape: when you leave it on top, you are on the same level like the surrounding terrain. Stadia of the last olympics used to be huge buildings emerging from surrounding surface.
Photo converted into B&W, original colour of the seats is light green.

Hallo Sven
Amazing composition, so graphical. The eye wanders along the rows of seats endlessly. Black and white is the right approach to this scene.
And lets never forget Munich 1972.
ein schönes Wochenende

Hi Sven,
The symmetry of the seating arrangement has been beautifully captured and portrayed through this framing. Well done and have a nice Sunday!

Hallo Sven,
sehr gelungener grafischer Effekt, als Foto schön, aber ich persönlich würde es auf jeden Fall vermeiden, im Stadion als Teil der Masse zu sitzen. Furchtbare Vorstellung!
