Photographer's Note

After a very hard hail storm, a strong lightning storm followed suit some minutes afterwards, with 2-3 lightnings every second. Most of those lightnings were behind the clouds, but some of them could be readily observed. So it was my chance to take some pictures, where the bolts of light could be rendered sharp.
I took many pictures in that night, perhaps 80 or more. Most of them were of several seconds' exposure (bulb). and the greater majority had not the clearly defined lines of the lightning. However I got lucky, and in one picture, just after pressing the button, certainly less than 0.2 seconds afterwards, this lightning bolts surfed the sky.
I hope I can repeat this feat someday.
