Photographer's Note
Some photo are criticized positive, other photos will be ignored. Anyone who publishes a photograph, never know how it is assessed. But every photographer likes his own pictures, - more or less.
The photo from the (Königsplatz) Royal Palace in Munich is one of the images in which I am a little unsure. I shot the scene in passing, because I liked the unique symmetry. Everything looks a bit like on a stage. Only the title of the play is still missing.

Hello Wolfgang,
I can certainly tell you that I like it! A fine well exposed symmetrical composition, but it is the humour that makes the image. These two statues looking down on their human counterparts, each of which adopts a different pose suitable to the occasion. A beautifully observed slice of daily life excellently presented.

Great shot indeed.
Lovely compo with soft colors. The dimension of the sculptures above adds to the atmposphere of the pic as if the two big elements were watching in silence approval. Calmness and placidity is what it transmits at first glance.
Congrats for this one !
Cheers from Rio !

H ello Wolfgang,
Big statues, small people, pleasant colours and good light. Daily life in a place as dead as the outside of a Royal Palace. Great symmetry, and yet with that irregularity that makes a picture vivid: one person lying down, another sitting with his legs crossed, those in the middle sitting properly (women know how to behave).
Kind regards,
Gert

Hello Wolfgang
You know I like this. It is reminiscent of some of my photos of Granada. I like the statues staring down and the juxaposition between the people. I like the splashes of colour the people add too,
Best wishes

Hi Wolf,
Great composition, I love it.
Each of your post is a very nice surprise.
I like the symmetry of course but also the way you play with the statues, making small the humans. So great like this.
Either you are lucky or you are a great theatre director for succeeding to have all these persons in different and interesting positions.
A master piece. Congrats.
Thank you very much for the pleasure your shots give to my eyes.

Hi Wolfgang
once again a great eye in order to capture the situations. another clevershot from you with a perfect composition. the irony is mixed to the truth, and the truth is often ironic, if we are ourselves able to observe it.cheers.
enjoy your sunday

Hello Wolfgang - If you had personally positioned these four people you would not have captured a better shot, but to "see" them like this is fabulous. I wish I had your powers of observation for just one day! Top class image, very well done. Rosemary

Hi Wolfgang,
well I hope this one won't be ignored because it's well worth a look. the symmetry in the composition contrasts and emphasizes the various attitudes of the characters at the bottom and provide a perfect backdrop for them. The statues seem to be commenting on those people.
You also got a variety of attitudes and actions which adds extra interest.
definitely works for me.

Hi Wolfgang
Beautifully observed and rendered.
I like the combination of two strong elements; an elegant architecture and the peoples' interactions in symmetry which obviously draw the eyes in. What a capture, amazingly each is perfectly at the right spot and well spaced out at same distance and the contrast between them works really well. This is a great effort, there is a link between these two which helps tie the image together as both rightly deserves equally attentions. Timely shot and great finishing touch, a stupendous moment captured with so much feeling! This is an excellent addition to your inspirational pictures. Well done, Congrats

Hi Wolfgang,
excellent capture. I am always tempted to photograph this type of situations: people sitting around on squares stairs and other public spaces but somehow I never manage to capture an interesting enough scene. Here you have people in three various poses set against a nice fragment of architecture. I like the composition: the people seem so small in comparison to the huge wall here.
Very well done!
