A lady passes some half-timbered houses in the pretty town of Dinkelsbühl in Germany.
Dinkelsbühl is an historic city in Bavaria, Germany and a former Free imperial city of the Holy Roman Empire. It is located the district of Ansbach, north of Aalen.
Fortified by the emperor Henry V, Dinkelsbühl received in 1305 the same municipal rights as Ulm, and obtained in 1351 the position of a Free Imperial City. Its municipal code, the Dinkelsbühler Recht, published in 1536, and revised in 1738, contained a very extensive collection of public and private laws.
During the Protestant Reformation, Dinkelsbühl was notable for being – eventually along only with Ravensburg, Augsburg and Biberach an der Riß — a Mixed Imperial City where the Peace of Westphalia caused the establishment of a joint Catholic–Protestant government and administrative system, with equality offices and a precise and equal distribution between Catholic and Protestant civic officials. This status ended in 1802, when these cities were annexed by the Kingdom of Bavaria.

sarebbe bello poter confrontare questo scatto con uno di oggi.
Molto bella queste facciate colorate e piene di fiori.
Non avevo mai visto i pali in legno che reggono le catene, di solito si vedono in campagna, ma non in città.

See you are still dusting the cobwebs and posting your super slides from the past.
This German street scene is colourful and has some splendid architecture, great to see some of the eighty and ninety's cars.
Wonderful, have a nice Wednesday.

a beautiful architecture shot here. The sky is a bit unnatural in colours but I like the whole image as a unit. Your framing is superb using a nice POV. Excellent work. Tfs.

Au premier regard on voit bien que c'est un scan. Je pense que tu as appuyé un peu fort sur le bouton de la saturation, mais l'image attire énormément.

I suppose the cars give away the age of this image, but it is a wonderfully colourful conversion into digital. I would imagine this street looks just the same nowadays, but probably with even more cars to spoil the view. Excellent!

Now this is really beautiful! I always had a soft spot for these half timber houses, and since they were all demolished in Dublin, its always a pleasure to see them from around the world. Your composition on this is perfect, creating a fine sense of depth while showing a beautiful array of colors. The flowers do so much for the color palette of the scene.
And I get to play name that car too, classic cars I haven't seen for a while all lined up there! I think I know them all :)
All the best

La ligne diagonale de la rue est un atout à la composition. La prise de vue permet de distinguer les détails et les couleurs de l'architecture des maisons. La bonne luminosité fait ressortir les couleurs. Bonne soirée.

Frankly speaking this photo reminds me scene from some movie of 1980th. Sometime I like the scanned quality, just a spirit of the past time. Attractive colors, very nice daily life picture, thanks for sharing of the archive photos.
