Berchtesgaden (IPA: [bɛʁçtəsˈgaːdən]) is a municipality in the German Bavarian Alps. It is located in the south district of Berchtesgadener Land in Bavaria, near the border with Austria, some 30 km south of Salzburg and 180 km southeast of Munich. It is situated north of the Nationalpark Berchtesgaden.

Berchtesgaden is often associated with the Mount Watzmann, at 2713 m the third-highest mountain in Germany (after Zugspitze and Hochwanner), which is renowned in the rock climbing community for its Ostwand] (East Face), and a deep glacial lake by the name of Königssee (5.2 km²). Another notable peak is the Kehlstein mountain (1835 m) with its Kehlsteinhaus (Eagle's Nest), which offers spectacular views to its visitors.

Hello Georg,
A great capture of this beautiful architecture. A fine well balanced composition nicely anchored by the tower on the left with the fountain providing added interest in the foreground. The pastel colours positively sparkle under a very appealing light. Superb clarity.

Wieder eine wunderschöne Stadtansicht mit schwierigem, aber toll gemeisterten Licht. Diese Lüftl-Malerei ust einfach schön und irgendwie "gemütlich".

PS. Ich streike für eine Woche hier auf TE und habe das auch in meinem Intro geschrieben. Vielleicht kannst Du ja mal im TE-Forum über den Rauswurf von "Polonaise" lesen.

Ach te bawarskie widoczki... to chyba jedno z najpiêkniejszych miejsc w Europie. Te miasteczka i wsie z zabytkow± zabudow± po prostu wprowadzaj± mnie w os³upienie. Taki widok trzeba jeszcze dobrze przedstawiæ, a Ty nie masz z tym najmniejszych problemów... no w tym przypadku za ¿adn± cenê nie ci±³bym wie¿yczki, to tylko jedna uwaga. S³oñce mia³e¶ trudne, ale sobie ¶wietnie poradzi³e¶, czy¿by jaki¶ typ HDR?

very interesting, beautiful buildings!
The composition looks a little controversial to me, and perhaps I would try taking a vertical photo of the building in the FG... and also stepped a little backwards to capture more of the space on the right. Though... I have not been at that place, I don't know the surroundings well, and this is just an opinion... I like the look of these buldings, no matter what! :)

elle est vraiment magnifique sur le plan des lumières et des couleurs cette photo, je suppose qu'il y a eu un post processing derrière cela.
Un tout bon cadrage et une mise au point qui donne une vue très nette.

O qrde, jakie piekne te budynki, super elewacje i architektura. Bdb ujecie, podoba mi sie swiatlo i kolory. A Photomatix tez czasem uzywam, ladnie rownowazy kontrasty i koloryzuje chociaz czasem daje poswiate na krawedziach.
