Kirchheim unter Teck ist eine Stadt in Baden-Württemberg, im Südosten der Region Stuttgart etwa 25 km südöstlich von Stuttgart. Sie ist die viertgrößte Stadt des Landkreises Esslingen und bildet ein Mittelzentrum für die umliegenden Gemeinden.

Seit 1. April 1956 ist Kirchheim unter Teck Große Kreisstadt. Mit den Gemeinden Dettingen unter Teck und Notzingen hat die Stadt Kirchheim unter Teck eine Verwaltungsgemeinschaft vereinbart.

Kirchheim unter Teck is a town in Baden-Württemberg, Germany, in the district of Esslingen. It is located on the small river Lauter, a tributary of the Neckar. It is situated near the Teck castle, approximatively 25 km southeast of Stuttgart.
The town has a royal castle built in 1538, two schools and several benevolent institutions. The manufactures include cotton goods, damask, pianofortes, machinery, furniture, chemicals and cement. The town also has wool-spinning establishments and breweries, and a corn exchange. It is the most important wool market in South Germany, and has also a trade in fruit, timber and pigs. In the vicinity are the ruins of the castle of Teck, the hereditary stTronghold of the dukes of that name. Kirchheim has belonged to Wurttemberg since 1381.

Guten Morgen Georg!
Wie oft bin ich schon an dieser Autobahnausfahrt vorbeigefahren ... beim nächsten Male sollte ich ausfahren.
Wieder eine herrliche Stadtansicht in einem besonderen Licht. Die Fachwerkhäuser sind wunderschön und besonders stattlich. Der Blick wird "automatisch" zum Rathaus (?) im Hintergrund gezogen.

Bardzo fajna kompozycja Jurek.
Kadr jest pelen typowej niemieckiej architektury.
Na koncu drogi super ciekawy budyneczek pewnie ratusz.
Szkoda ze w cieniu -byloby pewnie jeszcze radosniej i kolorowiej gdyby bylo wiecej slonca. Nie mniej bardzo urokliwe ujecie, TFS

I like the zig zag patterns, by both sets of roofs, either side of the street, which adds superb diminishing linear perspective & vanishing point. Good sharpness & colour, with a wonderful blue sky. Tfs!

A beautiful and well composed street scene from this pleasant town. A half-timbered church looks quite unusual to me, it would be interesting to see a close up of this beautiful building. This looks like an attractive town!

Georg,
Nicely composed shot with the road leading the eye to the half-timbered building with the clock tower. The people add scale and life to the shot. The foreground is a little dark but the building at the end of the street is well lit.

Bonjour Georg,
une photo un peu sombre je trouve au niveau de la rue et des occupations, c'est dommage dans cette vue qui ne souffre pas trop de défauts de perspective.
Le joli bâtiment dans le fond, apporte un peu de lumière et de profondeur.
