Reflections in the Danube valley 3 Photo

Photographer’s Note

English:

I have found these reflections of the so called "Jägerhaus" (hunting lodge) at Castle Bronnen
during a evening walk at the Danube. The linear distance between building and my POV is about 300 meters. You can see the house created on the edge of a steep rugged cliff shining in the evening sun, while the calm Danube is already situated in the shadow. The blurred part of the picture are leaves on the water surface, which probably turned into this blue framing due to the long exposure (1,3 sec) and slight motions. PP-work: I have turned the picture upside down, did a slight cropping and a slight sharpening. That's it.

Deutsch:

Bei einem Abendspaziergang an der Donau habe ich diese Spiegelung vom sogenannten Jägerhaus auf Schloss Bronnen gefunden. Das Gebäude ist ca. 300 Meter Luftlinie vom Aufnahmestandort entfernt und leuchtet in der späten Abendsonne, während sich die Donau schon im Schatten befindet. Der verschwommene Teil im Bild sind Blätter auf der Wasseroberfläche, die vermutlich durch die lange Belichtungszeit (1,3 Sekunden) und leichte Bewegungen diese blaue Rahmung erzeugten.
Nachbearbeitung: Ich habe das Bild auf den Kopf gestellt, leicht geschnitten und leicht nachgeschärft. Das war's.

Very nice composition. I really like the boarder the water reflection has created around the house. I'm now curious to see a real, non reflection picture of this house, as it looks quite interesting. This is a beautiful artistic image.

Da muss man drauf kommen ...
Ein toller und phantasievoller Beitrag, der wirklich sehenswert ist. Ohne die Erklärung im Text wäre man als Betrachter etwas "aufgeschmissen". Die Wirkung der Blätter ist unglaublich. Wirklich sehr interessant!

Hallo Helmut,
hier bei TE bin ich zu einem großen Anhänger von Reflektionen geworden und dies Bild ist ein schlagender Beweis für die artistischen Möglichkeiten. Tolle Farben und Kontraste und eine märchenhafte Atmosphäre. Meinen "Vorsingern" ist nichts mehr hinzuzufügen außer einem ganz lauten "Bravo"!
