Photographer’s Note

This picture was made at the Schluchsee, black forest, near Freiburg, Germany.

It was a bloody cold day, but the sun was shining and it was calm.
The Schluchsee is situated in the midst of the black forest. Around 40 km from east of Freiburg. The lake is 7.5 km long and the perspective in this picture is looking eastward from the lakeshore towards the town Schluchsee.

A suitable title for a nice winter atmosphere like this. The inclution of the branches makes a great composition. The blue tone and the quiet landscape make a nice winter shot. TFS
