Seasons - One year on TE Photo

Today I celebrate my first anniversary here on TE. My special thanks go to the people, who took some time to watch my pictures. It was a real pleasure to read all the friendly critiques and helpful comments. But also by the mere view of other pictures I have obtained a lot of technical and creative suggestions. For this reason I also want to thank all the members of this great community. Today I can say that I have already learned a lot and I hope that I can learn much more. But the biggest achievement is probably the fun of taking pictures itself. There are so many wonderful subjects in natural surroundings that are just waiting for being discovered and thanks to the many impressions of other galleries here on TE, I was able to sharpen my eyes for this. The early morning or late evening light, the blue hour or foggy atmospheres, reflections or other natural characteristics are well known to me by now and for the best point of view I even stand on precipitous rocks. By today's posting I want to show you four different captures taken on the Eichfelsen. Congenial to my one-year jubilee I have made a photo collage of the various seasons. I think it is always fascinating to watch the changing colors of nature during one year. The exposure data are from the last shot, that I have made in spring.

Heute feiere ich mein erstes Jubiläum hier bei TE. Mein besonderer Dank gilt all denen, die sich Zeit für meine Bilder genommen haben. Sehr gefreut habe ich mich über die vielen freundlichen Kritiken und hilfreichen Kommentare. Aber auch durch das blosse Betrachten anderer Fotos habe ich hier viele technische und gestalterische Anregungen erhalten. Auch hierfür herzlichen Dank an alle Mitglieder dieser tollen Community. Ich kann heute sagen, dass ich schon sehr viele Dinge gelernt habe und hoffentlich noch viel lernen darf. Meine grösste Errungenschaft ist aber sicherlich der Spass am fotografieren selbst. Es gibt in der freien Natur unglaublich viele wunderschöne Motive, die nur darauf warten entdeckt zu werden und dank der vielen Eindrücke von anderen Fotos hier bei TE, habe ich heute auch einen besseren Blick dafür. Das frühe Morgen- oder auch das späte Abendlicht, die blaue Stunde, Nebel oder auch Nebelbogen, Spiegelungen oder sonstige Besonderheiten der Natur sind mir mittlerweile wohlbekannt und für den richtigen Aufnahmestandort stelle ich mich auch auf steil abfallende Felsen. Mein heutiges Bild sind vier verschiedene Aufnahmen, die ich vom Eichfelsen aus fotografiert habe. Passend zum einjährigen Jubiläum habe ich davon eine Fotocollage der verschiedenen Jahreszeiten erstellt, weil ich es immer wieder faszinierend finde, wie sehr sich die Natur im Laufe von einem Jahr verändert. Die Aufnahmedaten stammen von meinem letzten Foto, das ich diesen Frühling aufgenommen habe.

First of all, congratulations for your First Year here at TE, with all of us!
Secondly, wow, how I love those four photo images that show the changes that seasons cause to the landscape! Here in Brazil, they don't happen like that and I really miss that!
Sharpness, exposure, colors, pov and composition are all great there, in all of the four captures!
The landscape is breathtaking!

Hallo Helmut,

so schnell geht ein Jahr vorrüber, Glückwunsch zu all den schönen Bildern bisher, kann mich noch deutlich an die Anfänge erinnern (war irgendein Vogel vor einer Felswand??), so wünsche ich dir auch weiterhin viel Spaß hier, und weiterhin gutes Licht..

Glückwunsch! Es klingt vielleicht abgeschmackt, aber Deine Fotos hier sind wirklich eine Bereicherung dieses Forums. Sie haben alle irgendwie eine Seele und zeigen, wie sehr Du mit Deiner wunderschönen Heimat verbunden bist. Hut ab zu dieser Collage der 4 Jahreszeiten! Ein sehr interessanter und wieder sehr schöner Beitrag.

Congratulations on your first TE anniversary. This is something I always wanted to do; take the same scene at different times of the year. (You must have marked the spot for your tripod legs! ;D) It is an excellent idea with which to mark a year in your TE career. My only regret here is that I can't see a larger image of the scene. Well done

Glückwunsch nicht nur zum Jubiläum sondern auch zu dieser wunderschönen Collage. (Sie erinnert an das Poster der GEO von der berühmten Buche….) Hier kann man deutlich erkennen, was für ein landschaftliches Juwel vor Deiner Haustür liegt. Alles Gute für ein weiteres erfolgreiches Jahr hier!
