Stone cross on Petersfelsen and Beuron Photo

Photographer’s Note

English:
It is 11:08 a.m. and I have changed my position for the last time to another viewpoint called "Petersfelsen". You can see the stone cross on Petersfelsen, as well as Beuron and the full Beuron Monastery Complex. The stone cross to the right was inaugurated on 28.06.1931 and it can be lighted today for special occasions such as Christmas. To be continued ...

Es ist nun 11:08 Uhr und ich habe zum letzten Mal den Aussichtspunkt gewechselt. Ich befinde mich nun auf dem Petersfelsen. Das Bild zeigt das Steinkreuz auf dem Petersfelsen, sowie Beuron mit dem gesamten Klosterkomplex der Erzabtei Beuron. Das Steinkreuz wurde am 28.06.1931 eingeweiht und kann heute zu besonderen Anlässen (Weihnachten) auch beleuchtet werden. Fortsetzung folgt ...

Hello Helmut ,
I like this POV , because the rock in the fore ground gives a good depth , and the village is perfectly framed .
May be that the cross is a little too much in the corner of the picture , but I suppose that it was not possible to to make different .

Du hast wirklich eine wunderschöne Heimat - was dieses Foto wieder mal beweist. Der Bildaufbau ist einfach toll um Tal und Felsen in Szene zu setzen! Da fehlt nur noch ein Kolkrabe (erinnerst Du Dich noch an Deine Anfänge hier ;-) Ein Foto zum Verweilen ...
Beuron muss ein wirklich sehens- und besuchenswerter Ort sein.

Hello Helmut,

An excellent POV very well selected. Great prospect to the charming and coloured village The red of the roof arise very well in the image. Good framing too with the croos on the right which give a greta depht to the image.

wonderful view. the town is very beautiful and I liked the mis of colors and this perfect light, so soft and perfect to show details, this detail of the cross in the foreground is fantastic too. well done, congratulations

un POV très bien choisi et j'aime beaucoup tous les élements de cette photo à l'exception des couleurs vertes que je trouve un peu trop accentuées.
Une réelle impression d'altitude.

Hallo Helmut,
ich finde diesen Gesichtspunkt für eindeutlich besser als beim vorigen Bild - vielleicht wegen dem Vordergrund mit dem Steinkreuz, oder weil die Stift in dieser Einstellung plastischer, also eher in ihrer Masse erscheint. Wichtig ist nur, dass es ein gutes Bild ist.
