An old fountain in Villingen. According to the web:Every year on Epiphany, the “Narro”, the traditional figure of the Villingen carnival, is ceremoniously positioned on his base and crowned with brushwood. On Ash Wednesday, he is removed for a short time before returning in the spring. The wooden figure was designed by Villingen wood carver Manfred Merz. Thanks for looking.

This is a unique and unusual fountain with a long history as you have write on notes. Very beautiful details and composition.

A very clear photograph. The clear and beautiful buildings in the background are perhaps a bit distracting to the theme of the photograph - the statue and the fountain. So is the clarity of the solid stone tun holding the water..
Please allow me a crop on WS.
The note was interesting.
