[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
A short weekend trip to the black forest into the heart of the Kuckuckuhren showed us that curiosity. You may amagine the size by the pan tiles above. This is not the largest one, but for me that one was less impressive.
It is cropped but also some strange parts left. The building is under work at the facade.
I think there were anything from 2-3 meter.
ADDITION:
The slight blue, well detected by Chris and Jose can be the effect of the covering of the facade, it was made with green plastic net.

Hi Ulf

It has a slight blue colour cast, & is a little unsharp, but the symmmetry & pov are excellent. Tfs!

Very well done, Ulf. Interesting idea.
I like the symmetry of the compo and the fact that it is broken by that wheel on the top left corner isn't bad, as showing part of the mechanism of the clock makes the image more interesting .
ChrisJ is right about the blue cast and indeed there is a slight problem with the focus of the clock on the right, clearly an indirect consequence of the light conditions that forced you to use a low f.
The perspective is very good - a bit tilted to the right, but nothing important.
There isn't a very good sense of scale - the tiles help, but they it's not very efective, as we don't know the exact dimensions of them. I just point this because you seem to give some importance to that, not only in this photo.

Or a big cuckoo clock :)
Hello Ulf
Very nice wooden brown composition.
Your tight frame is very interesting.
Cheers.

Nice title hehe, would have been great to see the birdys coming out of the doors ;-)
Nice Sunday

I like this photo very much: The colour, the composition , the object itself and the humorous title.
I was in Baden-Wurttemberg a few years ago, and I was very interested in the amazing variety of original clocks.
Well done, and thanks for sharing!
Marie Louise.

Olá Ulf, I like very much this composition and the way this "not Big Ben" fills the whole image. The quality is not the best, but as you said, that was not your main goal and I tend to agree with it. If you can have both, great, but if you can't...Anyway, you have good critics here and for the matter of the scale, you could show extra complementar images in WS, even if they are not good.
Best regards,
Ricardo

Belle photo de ce coucou,le bois est une matičre noble et faire des horloges dans du bois est super.Belle couleur en plus. Thomas

Hi Ulf, I thought I would just have a quick look at your early work & came upon this one, I like this as I think you have cropped it very well, not too much & not too little, the decoration stands out brilliantly &, although it's probably a touch overexposed, it's still a lovely photo &, a superb clock, kind regards Wilson.
