300th Photo | TrekEarth

Photographer’s Note

Today it`s raining,it`s very windy and too cold for end of july.
Nearly every member has a hayroll in his/her gallery ,so after 299 posted images it`s time to post one,too.
This is the sky we had last sunday.A blue sky and low clods,a photographers delight.
I was driving around looking for fields with some working people,but the harvest is done.
This place is not far from my home and I pass it everyday on my way to work.
I can`t remember exactly which filter I used here,but I think it was the polarizer of course and a Gradual natural grey 1.

Great shot with excellent lighting and colors. Your POV is great using the cuts in the field to lead the eye through the shot. The rolls of hay add many points of interest to the photo.

Fantastic clouds over these hayrolls. I like the long lines on the ground. Together with the clouds it gives a great feeling of immensity. Congratulations on your 300th!

At least you're having the good weather over the week-end and the rain during the week when you're working. Better than the other way around, no?
A very sharp and well composed shot. I love thse line on the right that take our eye to the very far end of the field. There also seems to be one un-disciplined roll that has decided to lie the other way around.

Ich sollte dich echt als mein Vorbild nehmen.....
Zum Bild:Eigentlich überhaupt gar nichts zu kritisieren,das BIld enthält alles,was für ein gutes Foto nötig ist:
Tiefe,schönes Farben und guter KOntrast,geeignete Lichtverhältnisse,einen Rahmen,einen guten Standpunkt.....
Einfach ein exzellentes Foto!

Congratulations on 300! This is a gorgeous shot, with some really beautiful colour. I like the contrast between the warn gold of the field and the deep blue of the sky. I also like the way you matched the puffy clouds with the rolls of hay. Well done!

Andreas congratulations on your 300th posting. I think the selection is excellent showing the gorgeous view across the land. The perspective lines in the field along with the bales is very complementary to the bright clouds above with the deep blue sky. Congratulations for this 300th post but mostly for the quality of the work you've been showing us and delivering with your honest critiques.
Well, I can say that I am one of the few that don't have a picture with the hay rolls on the fields:), but I have one with them next to a farm wall, an old picture on my gallery.
About the photo itself, it's a really nice perspective along the field you show us with the lines formed by it leading really well the eyes across it. The hay balls break well the scene, and the beautiful clouded sky tops it perfectly.

very typical excellent image in these dates, but yours is very well composed by photographic eye to obtain this big POV, I say it for as you have placed the first plane with the first roll and later them other two in diagonal.

Ein klassisches Thema, super ausgeführt. Besonders interssant auch der Himmel und die Farben. Hier hast du sicher eine gute Filterwahl getroffen. Ein durchweg perfekter Bildaufbau auch: Kamera schön, entsprechend an der diagonalen Linienaxe im Feld platziert, schön ausgeglischen kadriert ... alles super!

Well, about the photo now: This is not another hayroll photo, it's one of the best hayroll photos ever posted in TE. Amazing composition and diagonal perspective, beautiful wide angle feeling and precious, vivid colours. The incredible sky is the "cherry on the pie". Congratulations!

And a good composition to celebrate it, with the roll in foreground and the lines of the reaped field that escape towards the trees of background, with a great sensation of depth and perspective, which they contribute the dynamic touch to the scene.
Good setting following the rule of the thirds, and leaving this great space to the magnificent blue sky with the clouds, very well polarized.
It is a typical summer image, well done.
