Photographer’s Note

This is again the watertower of Feudenheim,a suburb of Mannheim where I live.It`s the view to the left from my livingroom.To use a tripod was`nt possible.
This foto was taken a few minutes later than my first shot of this tower.
In the seventies an architect bought this tower and he still lives there.
I'll post another foto in december when the tower is verry nice illuminated for christmas.

I missed the last one from this buidling, but seeing it back i prefer this one.
A much better close-up view in a perfect composition.
Beautiful yellow/brown colour tones...really good..!!!

Good detail in this close-up plane of the tower.
Its silhouette in backlighting is very beautiful. The light and the colors of the sky are wonderful.
It is a very pleasant photo, and with very warm tones.

Hallo Andreas,
man denkt unwillkürlich an die Nordsee (Leuchtturm), dann dachte ich an den Wasserturm im Zentrum von Mannheim. Eine wunderschöne Aufnahme in unglaublich schönen, und nicht - wie so oft - überzogenen Farben.

Today I am at You and I will admit that I am delighted a peck of superb photographs which you show on TE. Also and the present picture is splendid, especially beautiful is the sky {heaven}. The almost black profile of the water-tower against the background of the golden sky - the splendid view. Very good quality of the photo: the excellent sharpness, very good saturation of colours, beautiful contrasts of the lighting. The excellent shot!

nordsee in mannheim? *g*..aahh, wasserturm.
ein wunderschönes photo mit absolutem "wow"-effekt, leo! :-)
der sonnenuntergang ist ja schon herrlich für sich alleine,
aber die kombination mit dem coolen wasserturm oder besser
dessen silhoutte ist echt einmalig.
aber ich freue mich auch schon auf die weihnachtsbeleuchtung.
du hast echt einen schönen ausblick!

Very nice silouette shot, and I like it better than your first one from there. Good composition, and the tower takes just the right amount of space on the photo. Light is superb! And the architect has a good taste!

Hello Andreas, you got a nice view from your living room. the colors are so nice! and it is nice to see the water tower in shadows, it gives a nice mood!
I also like the quality of the picture: nicely sharpened, nice saturated colors, well composed and the nice contrast between the background and the watercolor.
