Photographer’s Note

This is the view from my livingroom.
It`s the old watertower of " Feudenheim",a suburb of Mannheim,where I live.
Who is living in the tower? Of course an architect.

Mannheim is a city in Germany. With 307,640 inhabitants it is the second largest city in the state of Baden-Württemberg after the capital Stuttgart.
Mannheim is situated at the confluence of the rivers Rhine and Neckar, in the northwestern corner of the state of Baden-Württemberg. The Rhine separates Mannheim from the adjacent Rhineland-Palatinate city of Ludwigshafen. The Hessian border is north of the city. Mannheim is the largest city of the Rhine Neckar Area, a metropolitan area with 2.4 million inhabitants.

What more beautiful sight you have from your livingroom.
The photo shows to us how you can see from your armchair a as beautiful dusk as the one of your photo, it gives a little me envies.
Perfect backlighting, the silhouettes of the buildings standing out against this wonderful sky, the dark clouds, and the pretty and smooth colors, they create a very pleasant composition.
Done very well.
The architect which you mention in your note had a good idea recovering and turning the old tower of the water his refuge, its home or its study. It is an excellent place to live or to work.
