This fountain is located in front of the Mannheim Watertower.
It contains four statues of Triton. In the Hellenic mythology Triton is a god of the sea - half human and half a fish.

A good photo of architectural details, Thorsten. I like its composition, clean colors and sharpness. Longer distance from the fontain and higher focal length could help to make the tower in background a little smaller.

Hi Thorsten, A very nice closer in picture. The composition is very attractive: the comer of the water fountain in foreground, the round stair case in the background. The color of surrounding background makes a nice contrast to the color of the status. A detailed, sharp, and nice contrast picture. Well done.

Great picture. I like the POV and the contrast between the verdigris of the statue of Triton and the roof of the water tower and the yellow of the sandstone.

Hi Thorsten. Now this shot is very interesting. The POV is ideal. I like how the eye is led, first from the foreground fountain and gradually backward into the scene to the staircase and the buildings behind. The brown colour of the main building is very soft and pleasing, while the darker colour of the interesting tower like building beyone provides a nice finishing touch to the scene. This is a very effective architectural shot.

Very good photo Thorsten. Nice contrast between the fountain with the statue of Triton and the brown color of the stair building.
Also the building in the background and the green color of the tree and blue sky give an excellent composition. Good sharpness.
