Photographers Note
In performing arts and entertainment, a one person show or solo show is frequently performed by, but not limited to, stand-up comedians. It is similar to stand-up comedy in that it usually involves a solitary performer on stage for about an hour, speaking directly to the audience, thereby acknowledging the absence of the fourth wall.
This term was used for a long time in reference to a large exhibition of artwork by one artist, but that use has fallen out of favor and most often the term has been replaced with, a solo show.
It is worth clarifying the difference between a solo show and a one man show. A one man show when performed by a comic is often an hour of pure stand-up comedy. It can sometimes, but not always, have a theme upon which the comedian meditates.
However, a solo show can have a wider scope. In the preface of the book Extreme Exposure, editor Jo Bonney uses the term "solo performance" to encompass those performers who do not necessarily have a comedic history. She suggests that "at the most basic level, despite their limitless backgrounds and performance styles, all solo performers are storytellers". This is quite a fair assumption given that a number of solo shows have storyline or plot.
Bonney suggest that a "solo show expects and demands the active involvement of the people in the audience"...

In this case the soloist has to share his one man show with the dozens of chairs...
In the photography field - those things can easily happen.
For the good of the photography itself - but of course.
Love the idea.

Great idea Korkut.
Opposite Feelings creates your photo.
In one hand makes you to feel sad for his loneliness but in the second hand makes you to feel jealous for the peace he has to enjoy his reading.
I like very much the creative placement of the subjects in the frame.

Selam sevgili Korkut,
Tebrikler

Recently I saw Ellen Degeneres performance during one hour and it was amazing...
Another fantastic capture. I wonder if the man is aware of the army that is ready to follow him wherever he decides. It's so perfectly aligned that I'm sure it will execute any task he will demand with total professionalism. He seems worry though and can't decide his mind - well, he's just human...keep surprising us with your creativity, krkt.

Hi Korkut,
there is sth in this image that connects me with my life...
Hm...I wonder what is the similarity.... :)
I probably do not need to say how excellent the composition is, right?
And the man as the accent...man on the edge...
I could go on and on fantasizing and discribing of what it associates me but I will rather just say you again did one hell of a photograph!
Enjoy the coffe and free week :)

Hi Korkut,
great angle. It seems you went there to align the chairs...no? They are perfectly placed in the frame. The question is: will people fill the empty spaces until the beginning of the performance? Great work!

merhaba korkut
so here, you have reversed the tables? the solo performer is a man from the audience being observed from what could be a stage-based POV? ;)) interesting concept and matches your story well. i find the rigid, dark rhythm of 'placeholders' (the chairs) to be a bit depressing, but, i guess that was the idea, wasn't it?
cheers,

It couldn't be better; your high POV and slight tilt are both genius. You are lucky the man sat where he did or he would have spoiled an immaculate composition. I hope the place filled up before the performance, but not before you had taken your fill of images. ;D

Hi Korkut,
Very well seen and captured! The lines of the chairs gives continuity to the photo, the man sitting on the edge gives unusualness, the tilt gives dynamism, the B&W gives philosophicity.
TFS!
