I definitely prefer this one - cleaner, clearer. Neat play on silhouettes and shapes. The EP tune is a funny complement :-)

I remember us talking about photography and shooting,not thinking about f stop,exposuretime.....and it works!
The most importand thing is to have a good eye and the best timing.Here you show,that you have both.Excellent composition with the cyclist`s sillhouette,the grating and the letters at the reight side.

This is a great composition with the man walking his bike from an open window to a grilled door like a ghost going to his own seclusion. The silhouette is perfect and the cigarette the small important detail. I love it. Well done.

So good, krkt. I never get bored in your gallery, but I wonder when will I see some sunshine here ;-) Not sure which one I like more. This one might be more effective but the other is more interesting. I'll go for the WS, because of the dynamics as you refer and also for the perfect silhouette of her, so detailed on top...well, this one is also very detailed and that's what makes this work of yours so good. Keep posting the iced collection...

Perfectly composed and timed. I have an image of you framing the two windows in your viewfinder and then just waiting for someone to walk in. That green stripe is also an important part of the image.

I like both images - the block face to the left is a humorous thing to me but above all what comes through again and again is the artistry of your eye and your ability to find these wonderful backdrops and points of view and...as here.....the little human moments - habits, foibles, expressions or just presence.

Another cool creative one from you, well spotted. Love the silhouette with the smoke from his mouth and the backpack on the bicycle. Nice bright urban background with 3 great variations in it from the gate to the smooth white to the green with the lettering.

Hi Korkut,

i must say i prefer WS better. I like it because of the relation between a woman and a man entering the frame, because of completely white light and that green für... This is good to...a composition of two soft white rectangles and one green on black canvas...it feels like an abstract art created by night and captured by you...but a silhuette of a lonesome cowboy place it to real environment.

Hello Korkut,

Your model looks like German version of Lucky Luke. The light is fantastic as same the quality of your capture. I'm not sure about the left square, filled with roll-down shutter but it helps for to describe the place. Both versions are very nice, I also prefer this one.

I'm impressed about your model's profile and type of his backpack on bicycle. I'll have two more private questions when we meet next time ;) Congratulations. Have a nice holiday, take care.

hey, the danger of putting a ws on your own pic is that people might like the ws better;))) it's my case. The für changes everything. It's a completely different story, same spot but different. In the ws, seems like the body of the cyclist is placed just to hide everything but the word.
In the main post, I like the dark silhouette against the white wall. I like the cig hanging on his lip. I like his posture:it seems llike he has a huge weight on his shoulders...

Dear Korkut !
I like them both . The posted one is very much "cowboy mood"..., a town cowboy,even the cigarette is there...I have a preference for the compo and loneliness coming out of it.

The other one has a definetely more speedy, urban look and I love that detail of the "für" too. In any case, great atmospheric work, with beautiful mix of subdued tones, then that light and the silhouette and the bit of green, great compo as usual...

Not much around TE for the moment but late :-)

I've spent some time today browsing your gallery looking for inspiration - tomorrow I have the day off and for now I'm full of determination to grab my camera and head into the city. I guess that so far I've been mostly looking UP when I'm walking around, I'll try looking straight ahead now :)
love the photo, your timing is just right to have the distinct silhouette of the man against the white square, while the somewhat similar white square on the left creates a very pleasing composition. great shot, my compliments.
