Photographer's Note

I haven't got a lot of time to be on TE at the moment, sorry for that... but I will be there to take part in the carnaval day within about 10 days :D

On the road to Rothenburg, with our friend Didier (DKeus) to meet other great TE friends (Mark, Linda and Chris).
We spent the evening in Heidelberg.
This photo was taken on our way to the restaurant, on a lovely barge... where we waited for blue hour, of course!

Wonderfull "blue hour" capture !
Very good pov, amazing light of this typical blue hour scene. Very nice thick framing, which puts a great artisanal value to this entry.

Hello Marianne,

Against the extremely dark lake and hills as background, the boats exhibit such brilliant colors. Nicely composed and perfectly exposed.

Hola, amiga Marianne,
me gusta la luminosidad de la foto, y su gran equilibrio de luz y sombra.
El punto de vista desde la barcaza es perfecto para tu buen encuadre vertical, que nos ofrece una vista muy agradable sobre este bello paisaje del lago entre montañas.
Las barcas y el fantástico cielo completan esta bella composición.

what struck me most here is the level of overall quality.
the photo appears to be very sharp, clear, and clean.
the whispy cloud formations give you alot of form and motion, and the composition is smartly and thoughtfully played out.

une photo trés contrastée avec la couleur des barques qui flashent bien un format vertical bien vu ou l'oeil est guide par le mat de droite, un peu dommage d'ailleurs mais la lumiére est tellement belle qu'on l'oublie

Belle lumière qui fait ressortir ces bateaux, un bon contraste et effet entre cette lumière chaude et cette atmosphère plus sombre de fin de journée.

Bonjour Marianne,

Et un journée sans vent quand je remarque le fanion sur ce mât. Une photo tout en contrastes, des couleurs chaudes et douces très agréables. Une belle fin de journée estivale et un bien joli cadrage de ce paysage portuaire au crépuscule. Bon coup d'oeil, merci Marianne.

J'aime bien cette faible luminosité qui éclaire les bateaux avec une vue ambiante plus sombre.
Le moment de prise de vue était bien choisi.
Je pense que publier une image par semaine ne dérangera pas tes études:)

Ciao dolce Marianne,
ho visitato Heidelberg lo scorso dicembre, ma purtroppo il tempo era pessimo, praticamente ha sempre piovuto. Tu invece hai trovato una luce e un cielo stupendi. Mi piace questa foto, perchè enfatizzando i mezzitoni di luce hai creato una bellissima atmosfera. Molto bella, bravissima!

J'ai bien regardé la date de cette photo pour vérifier que ce n'était pas une photo de février 2010. Cette photo est très belle et on sent la lumière d'un soir d'été sur ces bateaux à l'heure bleue.
