Photographer’s Note

This student tavern, Zum Seppl is one of the biggest names in Heidelberg since its creation in 1634. Evidenced by old photos and numerous knife cuts made on the tables and walls.
Here, we are happy to drink beer and particularly the Altbierbowle, a cold punch with brown beer.
If 5 student associations have their Stammtisch (table of regulars), the place is also open to tourism and is a hotel.
A place to visit, but unfortunately it was closed on that day.

Nice clean and crisp picture. Having no lens distortion makes difference in this kind of picture. The light is strong and warm and I also like the shadow of a tree on the pavement. The wall on the right along with the lantern is a nice feature as well and it provides the picture with a beautiful natural frame.

Wouaw, c'est beau ! J'imagine bien la promenade par temps froid, avec cette belle lumière d'hiver. Belles couleurs, et endroit qu'on a envie de visiter !

De bien jolies couleurs ici. Deux choses me dérangent un peu cependant: le cadrage est pile poil mais je le trouve trop "serré" à mon goût, ça manque un peu d'air. Et puis l'ombre de l'arbre et du panneau s'"incrustent" un peu trop. Voilà, c'est juste mon avis, hein...

Quelle belle lumière pour présenter cette vieille taverne! Une superbe netteté et des couleurs excellentes.Me connaissant, j'aurais coupé le grand pan de mur et son ombre à droite -)

This is a nice shot of this old pub. The angle of the shot is fine giving the photo nice depth. The lighting and colors are great with excellent sharpness and detail.
