Spring colors in the Danube valley Photo

Photographer’s Note

English:
It is 11:30 a.m. and we can enjoy the last view to the Danube valley from this beautiful day in spring. The picture was taken once again from Petersfelsen and you can see a big Danube Loop at Beuron. The buildings at the street belongs to the christian meditation place called "Sonnenhaus Beuron" and at the top you can see once again the municipal Irndorf in the distance. After staying for about 7 hours on various viewpoints, I have made pictures of a castle in the blue hour, foggy atmospheres, beautiful communities or a small chamois on the Petersfelsen. All viewpoints were easily reachable by foot, but now I'm looking forward to have lunch at home. The last picture of this series was made during a halt in between at Buchheim and will be posted in the next days. To be continued ...

Es ist nun 11:30 Uhr und wir sehen den letzten Blick in das Donautal von diesem wunderschönen Frühlingstag. Das Bild ist erneut vom Petersfelsen aus aufgenommen worden und zeigt eine grosse Donauschleife bei Beuron. Die Gebäude an der Strasse gehören zu der christlichen Meditationsstätte Sonnenhaus Beuron und oben in der Ferne sehen wir noch einmal die Gemeinde Irndorf. Nachdem ich mich nun schon ca. 7 Stunden auf diversen Felsen aufgehalten habe und versucht habe die verschiedenen Nebel- und Lichtstimmungen im Tal einzufangen, freue ich mich schon auf das Mittagessen zu Hause und trete meine Heimfahrt an. Das letzte Bild dieser Serie habe ich bei einem kurzen Zwischenstopp bei Buchheim gemacht und folgt in den nächsten Tagen. Fortsetzung folgt ...

this POV is amazing. It allows to fly over this beautiful bight. The sharpness is perfect and the colors too.

What a point of view! The landscape is fabulous! I love it!
Sharpness is excellent, exposure is correct, depth of field is very good, colors are naturally beautiful!

Hallo Helmut. Was für eine phantastische Landschaft. Der Blick von oben zeigt vor allem die besondere Gestalt dieser Landschaft. Die Flußschleife, die Hügel usw., - alles ist sehr schön und sehenswert. Insgesamt hervorragend. Viele Grüße, Wolfgang.

Sehr schönes "Schleifenbild". Erinnert mich an ähnliche Aufnahmen, die man auch von der Saar und Mosel kennt. Gut, dass die Gebäude gerade noch im Sonnenlicht sind. Vielleicht hätte ich die Felsen links und rechts rausgeschnitten aber sie stören jetzt auch nicht übermäßig.

Hallo Helmut!
Was soll man hier sagen? Vielleicht, eindrucksvoll oder einfach wunderschön. Beides stimmt!
Eine Landschaft aus dem Bilderbuch, gezeigt von einem wirklich nicht alltäglichen Standort. Dieses Mal aber eine kleine Kritik. Die Farben sind mir hier etwas zu kräftig. Die Getreidefelder am linken Bildrand sind ja fast blaugrün.
Nichts für ungut - und ein schönes Wochenende!

Bonjour Helmut,
une prise de vue bien rehaussée, POV bien choisi en altitude et un point central par rapport à la courbe.
J'aime beaucoup cette palette bien diversifiée de verts.

we can see the small town up hills and this marvelous meander surrounded by greens. nice mix of textures (forest and plantations), perfect framing, pov, and light. interesting, even the roads following the meander's shapes. if this were in Brazil probably they had build a dam to produce electriciy...

this is a wonderful photo with panoramic effect of the valley,clear and vivid colors and details adds charm to this beautiful place.Shadows,different tones of green and castle at the bottom are all contribute to the quality and presentation.
You are right-trip to Austria was great,lot of impressions,traveling and photos (of course).
