When the snow hits hard Photo

Photographer’s Note

To show in broad daylight what I posted yesterday as a silhouette, I am posting this picture, but taken from a slightly different place. The tower almost at the centre --pretty much obtruded by the trees-- is a tower that is built at the highest point of this hill, the Kickelhahn.
This place is the "Thüringer Wald" (The Forest of Thuringen), therefore so many trees in the picture.

The photo almost looks fake with the snow beautifuly covering the trees. The terrain is hilly which gives good views of the trees. The photo could be a bit cleaner and sharper, which would have given the snow more bounce.

But this is a nice shot here.

Hello Jurgen. This is a nice reminder of the coming season. The frosted trees look awesome here and create that special winter landscape.Good contrast of white and dark colours and sharpness. Thanks for sharing.
