Photographer’s Note
In a very wintry day in Ilmenau, I climbed atop the Knebelblick, a hill beside the university campus, where I also shot this set of pictures more than a year earlier, but from a different viewpoint. This day in particular it was not only cold and all snow-covered, but also with some mist above the city (at the bottom of the picture).
The picture is rendered blue because the film recorded it so; it wasn't really this way. I did not alter this blue cast.
