Photographer’s Note
In the last snowfall of the winter season of this year 2005 in Ilmenau, I woke up early in the morning and went out to shoot some pictures of the snow-covered landscapes, because the quantity of snow that fell was a little more than normal. I found a lot of trees with their branches full of snow, like this one, as if they were blooming ice instead of flowers.
The sun was begining to break through the clouds, therefore there is a brighter part in the middle of the picture.
The overal blue cast is how the film recorded the scene, and I have not changed it. Temperature was ca. -2°C, not too cold.

Hi Jurgen,
Nice shot showing the covered tree by snow. This time, just after an snowfall is wonderful. You got a fine result with the difficult light conditions and almost produced a natural B&W photo.
Best regards,
Ricardo

Hi Jurgen,
The blue tones here is really fantstic and coller down the hot weather here! The composition lacks a little, you should had loked for a angle avoiding the cable and stair(?) on the left...
Regards,
Flavia
