In a cafe in Arnstadt I saw the organ grinder, who played for a birthday party.

Superb conversion to B&W
A beautiful close up portrait of this smiling musician in his environment
I like the POV from below allowing to have his face on a neutral BG

You seem to have mastered such arts as finding the right proportions for a crop and achieving a fine tonality in b/w conversions. The close cropping of the subject, the gentle contrast and low viewpoint all make this one a quiet delight. Strong in detail without over-sharpening, and the subject set in a nicely balanced picture with the added depth and provided by the diners behind.

A well framed composition that allows us to see the player and his audience. I like his pose and look of concentration. Splendid conversion to black and white.

Un très beau portrait. L'utilisation du noir et blanc apporte un petit côté vintage très intéressant , comme si le temps s'était arrêté.

Looks like a very pleasant occasion, the organ-grinder looks very happy. A fine B&W version even if I would like to see the colours of the organ (I would like to hear it too...).

Nice human shot at work, but you cut a little his right hand. The seated persons don't take care of him.

I have the impression of finding in my grandmother's shoe boy a picture of an ancestor wearing the top hat!
Those street instruments become a rarity so that's why they are so fascinating and so is the depiction of yesteryears free from anachronism!
