Photographer's Note

Town Hall in Bautzen, a small, picturesque town in Saxony, eastern Germany.
The first town hall was built in 1213. The turbulent history of the region Lausitz caused that the town hall was repeatedly destroyed, burned and rebuilt. Its final appearance the town hall obtained after the reconstruction in the years 1729-1732.
It is interesting that at the town hall tower (52 m) there are as many as three mechanisms for measuring time : two mechanical clocks and a beautiful sundial. I posted a photo of these clocks in WS.
