Photographer's Note

Entrance to the building of the Cathedral Chapter in Bautzen.
The building was built at the beginning of the 13th century and served as living and working space. In the great fire in 1634 the building was destroyed and in 1683 rebuilt. 1753/55 the complex was completed with a richly decorated entrance portal which influences of the Bohemian Baroque shows. Today, in the building house an archive, a library, the Bishop's Ordinariate and the Cathedral Treasury.
