Photographer’s Note

Late afternoon, during a long stroll along the Döberitzer Heide, a place I've already mentioned before.
It had been a typical 'April-Wetter' day (april weather means extremely variable in german terms) and I was enjoying all this chaos, when suddendly the sun started pouring its copper-gold richness onto this spot.

Oh my God Rene,what do you have here?
I`m trying for a long time to take a photo like yours with no results so far.
Fantastic harmony and contrast in the same time between the reds and the blues.

Hi René,
yes, that's your typical German April. Nice colors and good light for the birch trees. I might have sharpened it more, but I like the composition. The "troubled sky" makes it all the more interesting. Great shot!

Hello Rene,
one year has passed since you took this photo. I like the fine tonal coulours and the soft light.
It supports the beautiful nature in this loandscape. The trees are carfully place in this frame. Maybe the sky should have even more room and the ground a bit less. TFS
