Winter fading away and spring still preparing to explode...on afternoons like this, light is soft and shy and the shades are long.

The light aswell as the composition and the perspective created by the trees and the shorelines, prompted me to make this shot.

Taken on the same day as Frozen Beauty by the shores of lake Krampnitz, north of Potsdam, southwest of Berlin.
