Photographer’s Note
On a bike-tour north or Potsdam, in the Havelland region I caught this moment in which dark grey clouds were letting just the shape of the sun shining through. I liked the contrast of this sky against the fresh green of the barley sprouts.
I used a diagonally placed Cokin ND P121 to tame the too strong contrast. Slight pp in RawTherapy.

Ecco cosa è la stranezza di questa foto !! Il filtro per traverso.
L'effetto è bellissimo, mi piacciono molto i colori, solo verde e il cielo bello e strano.
Bravo!

Hi Rene,
I like the atmosphere in your photo very much. It is a bit unnatural and somewhat supernatural-looking. This makes a great atmosphere for a Mayday photo, maybe a pagan god or goddess will step out of the trees at any moment and the sun will burst through.
Nicely composed too!

Hi René,
The balance of the vibrant green with the soft sky and the well controlled sun make for a striking image .. the sense of emptiness is wonderful .. the way the trees feel graphic with their line and angle really adds to it. very nice.
take care,
John
