Photographer’s Note

Along the southwestern shore of the lovely Storkow Lake, which is located SE of Berlin and is part of a protected natural area, there are moors over which this wooden pathways have been built. I found it very inviting to walk for hours on end along them, inside gorgeous woods and with such particular light.
The german word 'Wanderlust' is one which conveys the joy of walking in beautiful nature. It is aswell the title of a musical piece of the same name, written and performed by the fantastic music group Oregon many years ago. A musical theme is introduced by an english horn and developed and accompanied by a double-bass, a classical guitar and tablas. I could really hear this music inside me while taking this picture... :-)

I like the mood that offers, a scene that bring us into the forest through this wooden path, it looks as a very nice place to walk.

Hello René,
This photo has a lovely mood and sense of being in the middle of nature. The light is gorgeous. A really inviting view. You have controlled the light excellently and the colours look very natural and beautiful. The wooden path leads the eye into the photo with a great perspective. A very appropriate title and what a lovely association to music.
